Introductions, introductions.
My name is Johnny and I am a comics major at the Minneapolis college of art and design. I've wanted to be a comic artist since I was kindergarten. My dad bought me my first comic, which was Iron Man, so I blame him.
I used to live in California and all in all I had a pretty decent childhood. I play guitar and write some mediocre songs every now and then.
A few years back I decided to get my shit together and learn how to actually make comics and found a super awesome summer program at MCAD. Its called the Summer Expressions Session and I recommend it for any artist between the age of 16 and 18. Try it out, there isn't just comics either. There is painting, game design, animation, and comic art. There is also a second session for music video filming, documentary, photography, and graphic design. Check out their website. Its pretty sweet.

I'm really obsessed with Penny Arcade.
My friend James Campbell and I working a web comic to be titled "Mix Tapes and Old Cigarettes" which is taking an extreme amount of work and process. Who knew right? We plan to have the first comic out by the end of this year. So look out for that!
